Police have released new details and the identities of three children who were allegedly strangled to death by their mother in their Fairfield County home.
The incident took place in Danbury on Wednesday, July 27 on Whaley St.
The children, Junior Panjon, age 12, Joselyn Panjon, age 10, and Jonael Panjon, age 5, were found by police after the department received a request for a welfare check from a distraught and crying person, said Det. Capt. Mark Williams.

Woman Charged In Death Of Her 1-Year-Old Grandchild In Fairfield County
A grandmother has been arrested in connection with the death of her 1-year-old grandchild.
Cora Brandon, age 60, of Danbury, was arrested by Danbury Police on Wednesday, May 26, for the Wednesday, March 17, death of the child.
The investigation into the death began when the Danbury Police Department were summoned to the Danbury Hospital for the untimely passing of the child, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
As the child’s death circumstances were suspicious, an investigation was initiated to determine the cause or reason for his passing.

Body Found In Pond ID'd As Man Who Was Missing For Months In Fairfield County
Police have announced that the body of a man found floating in a retention pond in Connecticut is that of a Fairfield County man.
Danbury Police said on Tuesday, April 13, that the body found in the pond at 55 Mill Plain Road, is that of Todd Smith, age 57, of Danbury, who has been missing since Saturday, Jan. 16, said Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
"The medical examiner found no apparent signs of trauma and could not provide an exact cause of death, as toxicology reports are still pending," Williams said.

A Fairfield County man was arrested on a variety of alleged drug charges following the execution of a search warrant related to an investigation regarding illegal drug sales.
Christopher Rosini, age 34, of Brookfield, was arrested on Wednesday, March 10, following the investigation which began weeks earlier, after receiving multiple citizen complaints that he was selling illicit drugs in Danbury and Brookfield, said Danbury Police Lt. Mark Williams.

A Fairfield County man has admitted to an embezzlement scheme of more than $1 million involving a Hartford company, federal authorities have announced.
Anthony Teixeira, 50, of Danbury, was employed by Joseph Merritt & Company, a Hartford-based printing company, for more than 25 years, and most recently oversaw the JMC branch located in Danbury.
The loss to the company attributable to Teixeira through his schemes is approximately $1.1 million, John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced.

Police have identified a 71-year-old woman who was killed after being struck by a pickup truck while crossing a road in Danbury.
Dona Kramer, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was killed about 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4, in the area of 59 Federal Road, said the Danbury Police.
When police arrived on the scene of the accident they found that a 2001 Chevy Silverado pickup truck had struck Kramer as she was attempting to cross the roadway from the west side to the east side, police said.

Police have arrested a friend of a man shot to death at the Sterling Woods Condominium Complex in Danbury.
David Ramos, 33, of Danbury, was arrested early Wednesday, Sept. 11, in connection with the Wednesday, Sept. 4, shooting death of Jason James Lowry Hoffman, 33, of Brewster, said Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams.

A Brewster man has been identified by Danbury Police as the person shot and killed during an incident at a condo complex.
Jason James Lowry Hoffman, 33, was shot and killed early Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the Sterling Woods Condominium complex, in Danbury, Connecticut, said Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams.

Officer Alex Relyea, was identified Tuesday by Connecticut State Police as the officer who shot Aaron Bouffard, 31, on Wednesday, July 3, as he threatened numerous people with large butcher knives.

Glenn Davis, 41, turned himself into police on Friday, June 14, after a warrant was issued for his arrest stemming from a complaint made on May 8, said the Danbury Police Department.
