Glider Crashes Through Roof Of Danbury Home
A glider plane lost power and crashed through the roof of a home in Danbury, according to the City of Danbury Fire Department. The Danbury Fire Department received an alert regarding a glider plane that had crashed into a home on Golden Hill Avenue on Tuesday, June 4 around 6 p.m. Further investigation revealed that a 2016 Alisport Silent 2 Electro glider plane from Danbury Municipal Airport lost power, and the pilot conducted an emergency landing that placed the plane through the roof of the occupied residence, according to the fire department.
