VanAllen, age 46, of Kingston, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 13, for DWI after he was found sleeping in a 2025 Dodge Ram pickup at an intersection in Gardiner. Following an investigation, Dutchess County resident Garnet G. Collins, age 50, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 11. According to Trooper Aaron Hicks of the New York State Police, Collins was an employee at the Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg, a hamlet of Hyde Park. High-Risk Sex Offender Found Hiding In Hudson Valley, Police Say A registered sex offender who was allegedly found living in the region has been arrested for violating the sex offender registry. Dennis R. Fellows, age 54 of Saugerties, was arrested for the violation on Saturday, Jan. 14. According to the Saugerties Police, Fellows moved to 171 Churchland Road in Saugerties and failed to notify the registry of his address change within the required 10 days. Fellows was convicted of having sexual contact with children ages nine and 13 years old, according to the state Sex Offender Registry. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to a farm in the Town of Marbletown at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6. Authorities arrested a 30-year-old Olive man who investigators believe stole a Jersey-Holstein calf and sold it. The Sheriff's Office said the man was released from custody and is set to appear in court at a later date. Police did not identify the man by name.

Vanessa Alejos, of Newington, was arrested around 11:22 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, in Hartford County, by Connecticut State Police for driving the wrong way on I- 84 in East Hartford, state police said.
