Hudson Valley Crash Sends 1 To Hospital, Police Looking For Witnesses
A person was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a busy Hudson Valley intersection. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 5:50 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, in the area of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road in Orangetown. According to Sgt. Robert Wentland of the Orangetown Police, the victim, a bicyclist, was struck and injured while attempting to cross the intersection of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road. Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a bicyclist. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 8:45 p.m., Monday, July 29, near the intersection of Kings Highway and Miller Road in Valley Cottage. 13-Year-Old Riding Bicycle Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Residential Roadway In Hudson Valley
Police are investigating a crash in which a boy was killed on a residential roadway in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 in Rockland County. That's when the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the village of Pomona at the intersection of High Mountain Road and Overlook Road. Upon arrival, units discovered the vehicle with the 13-year-old boy underneath the vehicle, said Chief John Gould Jr. of the town of Haverstraw Police Department. Bicyclist Seriously Injured After Crash With Vehicle In Area
A bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in the area. The incident took place around 6:20 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21 in Dutchess County on Route 55 (Manchester Road) at the intersection of Burnett Boulevard, in the town of Poughkeepsie Police. Police: Man Killed After Being Hit By School Bus While Going Through Stop Sign On Bike Path
A bicyclist was killed after going through a stop sign into the path of an oncoming bus, according to police. The 54-year-old male bicyclist was reportedly traveling in Ulster County northeast on Kingston's new Greenline bike path along Greenkill Avenue, which runs along the right side of the road on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The bicyclist, Kingston Police said, passed through a stop sign and into the path of an oncoming school bus that was turning right onto Wilbur Avenue from Greenkill Avenue, fell off his bicycle and was run over by the bus.
