Robbery Spree: Man Targets Businesses In Capital Region For Quick Cash, Police Say A man is behind bars in connection with a string of robberies targeting businesses in the region. Police in Saratoga County were initially called Sunday evening, Sept. 3, for a robbery in Saratoga Springs at the Ben & Jerry’s on Phila Street, according to police. Investigators said 40-year-old Daniel McKay, of Amsterdam in Montgomery County, walked in and told an employee he was robbing the store. He implied that he had a gun but did not show any weapon. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and McKay fled the scene, police said. No customers or employees were injured.…

Unilever announced that it is voluntarily recalling Ben & Jerry’s “Coconut Seven Layer Bar” and “Chunky Monkey” pints, which may contain tree nuts including almonds, Brazil nuts, and hazelnuts that are not declared in the ingredient list or allergy information list.
