Dutchess Man Tries Stealing From Gas Station ATM, Flees Into Woods: Police A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man was apprehended after trying to break into an ATM at a Northern Westchester gas station and fleeing into the woods with his accomplice who remains at large, police said.  The attempted theft happened on Thursday, Sept. 19 around 3:15 a.m., when a Bedford resident reported seeing two suspects trying to break into the ATM at a Mobil gas station at 193 Pound Ridge Rd. Video Shows Capital District Gunman Firing Through Victim’s Window A 60-year-old woman who was shot inside her Albany home was shot through a window and it was all caught on video. Albany Police provided new details Wednesday, May 11, surrounding the shooting that occurred at a home on Partridge Street near Madison Avenue a day prior.  Investigators said the victim was standing inside her home at around 4:45 a.m. when an unknown man who was on the front porch opened fire through a front window. The woman suffered a gunshot wound to her abdomen, but survived, police said. She was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where she remains in stable condit…

Know Her? Woman Wanted For Attempting To Steal $3K With Fraudulent Check Do you know her? New York State Police investigators are asking the public's help in locating a woman wanted in the area. State Police from the Dover Plains barracks are investigating the attempted theft of more than $3,000 through the use of a fraudulent check at the Key Bank in Pawling.
