Video: 'Street Takeover' Closes Down New Tappan Zee Bridge One person was arrested and multiple others were detained after staging a takeover of the  new Tappan Zee Bridge. The incident took place in Westchester County late Saturday night, July 8 into early Sunday morning, July 9 on the bridge near Tarrytown. According to New York State Police, there were multiple vehicles driving recklessly on the bridge, most of which cleared the area after troopers started to detain individuals.  Reportedly, the drivers were doing "donuts" in the roadway and running around, driving recklessly, and causing traffic to come to a complete stop. Man Charged With Sexual Misconduct In Hudson Valley Following a months-long investigation into a sexual assault in the Hudson Valley, a 35-year-old man has been charged with alleged sexual misconduct. The incident was reported to police last year in Dutchess County in the city of Beacon, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson, of the Beacon Police.
