Workers at four businesses have been charged with illegally selling alcoholic beverages to minors during a New York State Police detail in Northern Westchester and Putnam. During the initiative conducted on Saturday, Feb. 4, a total of 17 retail establishments were checked for compliance utilizing a trooper in plain clothes and an underage operative utilizing a valid NY driver’s license. Man Nabbed For Stealing Putnam County SPCA Police Donation Box From Market
A man who allegedly stole a donation box from a Putnam market has been arrested The Putnam County Sheriff's Office was informed of a larceny at the Appalachian Market in the Town of Philipstown on Thursday, Jan. 10, and dispatched to the scene to investigate. It was reported that the donation money box, which was for the Putnam County SPCA Police, was stolen from the market the night of Wednesday, Jan. 9. Drunk Motorist Assaults Area Sheriff After Fleeing From His House
At the height of the intense storm that hit the Hudson Valley on Tuesday, May 15, Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley spotted a stranger trespassing on his property in the town of Philipstown. Of course, being the sheriff, Langley went to investigate and met up with 33-year-old Brant D. Carter, who pulled away at a high rate of speed when he realized who he was talking to, the Sheriff's department announced on Tuesday, May 29.
