Video: Animal Planet Puppy Bowl Contestants From Danbury Animal Welfare Society Featured On CNN Our local furry friends from Danbury Animal Welfare Society were featured on CNN for their upcoming paw-ticipation in this year’s Animal Planet Puppy Bowl event. The resce group has entered a total of 25 puppies in this year’s event, and four of them were chosen to compete. The pups, all of whom are up for adoption, appeared in a segment on CNN's "New Day" morning show on Friday, Feb. 1.
