Wappingers Girls Lacrosse Team Looking For Good Things This Spring

EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. - Last year's Wappingers girls lacrosse team finished at 4-13, after losing to rival Arlington in the first round of playoffs.

Daily Voice talks with Wappingers girls lacrosse coach Kerri Walsh,, and captains Jessica Casaponara, Cailin Bahret and Danielle DiGiacomo about the upcoming season.

But this year's team - coached by Kerri Walsh - is looking to improve on that record, and the Warriors believe they can be a .500, or better, team. Oh yes, they'd love to beat crosstown rival Arlington, too.

Wappingers is scheduled to open the 2016 season March 30 at Putnam Valley at 4:30 p.m.
