The Sports KingDome will be opening later this year at 2 Auditorium Drive on the site of a former IBM Campus. The 347,000 square foot facility will feature 464' and 160' high ceilings. The Kingdome claims it will have the world's largest air-supported sports dome.
The $25 million facility aims to provide training opportunities for baseball/softball, soccer, lacrosse, football and field hockey teams, as well as private training for individual athletes. The facility plans to auction off the naming rights, according to Time Magazine.
An opening date has not been officially set.
