Beacon School Leaders Seek Input On Future Superintendent

BEACON, N. Y. -- Beacon City School District officials are looking for public input on what kind of administrator should be the next superintendent of schools, The Poughkeepsie Journal reports.

The Beacon City School District is hosting public meetings Sept. 14 to gather feedback on what attributes the next schools superintendent should have, The Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

Residents are invited to fill out an online survey available on the district's website. Also, two public forums have been scheduled for Sept. 14 to gather information, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the district offices and at 7 p.m. at Beacon High School, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.

District officials have hired a consulting firm to help with the search. The school district has had nine different superintendents in the last 10 year, The Poughkeepsie Journal saids.
