POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Town of Poughkeepsie police and Fairview firefighters were called to the scene of a car-pedestrian accident on Monday afternoon.
Police said a female was struck by a vehicle near 22 W. Cedar St. at about 3:30 p.m.
Capt. Ken Roman, a spokes;man for the town police department, said there were no serious injuries as a result of the accident.
No tickets were issued, police said.
Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services personnel from the Fairview Fire District responded.
