The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department announced on Tuesday that 37-year-old Aldeimian S. Woolcock has been arrested on a felony robbery charge for allegedly robbing a TEG Federal Credit Union branch on Marist Drive.
According to Town of Poughkeepsie Police PIO Lt. Gary Hulbert, a multi-agency investigation was launched following the first robbery in Poughkeepsie on Dec. 22. The investigation then determined that Woolcock may have also been involved in a Jan. 5 robbery of a Chase Bank in Newburgh.
It has not been disclosed how much, if any, money Woolcock may have taken during the robberies.
Woolcock was arraigned in the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail for the initial crime. He may also face additional charges in Newburgh as the investigation - which included the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department, FBI Safe Streets Task Force, State Police and Newburgh Police - continues. Woolcock was due back in court on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
