Police Pursue Woman Accused Of Stealing $1.3K From Wappinger Man

WAPPINGER, N.Y.  -- New York State Police are on the hunt for a 26-year-old Poughkeepsie woman wanted for ripping off a Wappinger man for $1,300 in August, and is asking the public for help.

An arrest warrant was issued for Heather L. Matula, formerly of Poughkeepsie, in September after state police received the complaint from the victim saying she had taken more than $1,300 in August.

Matula is described as being a white female, 5-foot-2, weighing 120 pounds with brown eyes and hair.
