Police Apprehend Two Suspects Following String Of Poughkeepsie Robberies

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Two people were arrested for alleged involvement with a string of strong-arm robberies in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday morning.

According to Time Warner Cable News, Kyle Loucks, 29, and Jazman Williams, 28, were charged with robbery and assault. 

Shortly after midnight, a man was punched and held down while a woman took money and items from his pocket. A second man was allegedly assaulted and robbed in a similar manner on Maple St. at around 12:38 a.m. 

A man on Main St. was also assaulted and robbed of several hundred dollars in cash a couple minutes later on Main St.

Witnesses are asked to call police at 518-451-7577.
