Man Nabbed With 60 Bags Of Heroin, Handgun In Town Of Poughkeepsie

A 39-year-old man was nabbed by Dutchess County Drug Task Force agents with 60 bags of heroin, fentanyl, and an illegal handgun during a warrant search Monday in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

Keiron Montgomery, of New York City, was arrested when agents served the warrant at the Days Inn at 536 Haight Ave., in Poughkeepsie, after receiving complaints of drug dealing in the area, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the task force.

Montgomery was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, Tasciotti said.

He is being held without bail at the Dutchess County Jail.
