Dutchess Sheriff's Office Warns Of Counterfeit Bills

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office made public Wednesday details of an investigation into the usage of counterfeit $100 bills.

According to police, the fake currency had been used in at least three locations, LaGrange, Beekman and Pawling.

Sherriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying other counterfeit bills and urging anyone who feels they may have been victimized to call 845-486-3820 or email dcsotips@gmail.com.
