Chain Reaction, Four-Vehicle Wappingers Falls Crash Backs Up Traffic

A four-vehicle crash in Wappingers Falls led to midday delays near Party City, according to state police.

The crash, which occurred around 12:15 p.m. Thursday on Route 9 at Liss Road, was a chain reaction with the first car rear-ending the second, followed by two others who couldn't stop in time, said Trooper AJ Hicks.

No one was injured and two vehicles were towed from the scene.
