Brian William Wolfe, 32, was charged with felony sexual abuse and felony course of sexual conduct against a child, Solomon said.

Wolfe is accused of sexually abusing the female victim numerous times over several months, Solomon added.

Wolfe, who's is being held on $100,000 bail or $200,000 bond at the Dutchess County Jail, will appear in court in Beacon on Thursday.

Three years ago, Wolfe was arrested in Florida for abusing his then 5-year-old son by biting him on the arm, slapping him and hitting him with a belt, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal.

He was sentenced to three years probation but petitioned the court for early termination, which was granted, the Journal added.
