Wappingers Falls' Heidi Havens, 59, Owner Of Jewelry Business

Heidi A. (Peterson) Havens of Wappingers Falls, a local business owner and former postal workers, died Friday, Aug. 25 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 59.

She was born in Passaic, N.J. June 30, 1958, the daughter of Jack Peterson and Ethel Bill. 

She was owner of Heidi's Bead by Bead jewelry business, and enjoyed bingo, glass beads, making jewelry, the shore, Dolphins, Atlantic City, and poker.

Heidi was employed at the U.S. Postal Service as a mail handler in Newburgh since 1987. She was also a member of the Columbiettes at St. Columba Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer of Verbank, Shelby of Rhode Island; a grandson, Owen Clark; her better half, Robert Foster; and a sister, Sharon Lieberman of Florida.

Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Rt. 82, Hopewell Junction.

Burial will be at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
