Born in Poughkeepsie on Aug. 4, 1993, he is survived by his parents, Robert and Cindi Sucato, and by his siblings: Jonathan Sucato, Jason Sucato, Jennifer Sucato, Joseph Sucato, Jessica Sucato-Watkins, and Thea Sucato.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Liam Adolphsen, Chloé Watkins, Mason Watkins, and Malia and Talia Odongo; his grandparents, Stephen and Jean Hammond; his aunts, Nancy Myers and Carrie Hammond; his uncles, Matthew and Christopher Hammond; and numerous cousins.
James loved the New York Yankees and fishing with his father.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 30 at Pleasant Plains Presbyterian Church, 2 Fiddlers Bridge Rd., in Staatsburg at 2 p.m. for family and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet’s Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
