POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Naomi Goldberg, Poughkeepsie Planning Board member and former owner of the House of Cards, died Tuesday. She was 83.
As previously reported, Goldberg was a longtime Poughkeepsie Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals member.
A Dutchess County native, Goldberg owned the stationery and gift shop House of Cards with husband Paul for 50 years until retiring in 2007, according to Poughkeepsie Journal.
Goldberg was committed to the revitalization of Main Street and downtown Poughkeepsie, including efforts such as the live music event Friday Fest, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
Memorial services were held at Vassar Temple on Sunday.
