Wappingers Falls Man Found Guilty Of Sexually Assaulting Woman In Front Of Child

A 26-year-old man who illegally entered a woman’s residence before sexually assaulting her in front of a child during a home invasion may spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Wappingers Falls resident Dominique Gomez was convicted of predatory sexual assault, criminal sexual act, strangulation, attempted robbery, burglary, assault and endangering the welfare of a child dating back to an incident in Wappingers Falls on Dec. 23 last year.

Gomez remains remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. He will face a minimum term of 10 years in prison and a maximum term of between 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on June 24.
