WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – The owner of Dozer, a black lab from Wappingers Falls, is looking for him after the dog escaped from his leash after surgery at the VCA Animal Hospital.

He was being walked when he slipped his leash at the hospital, which is at 1285 Route 9 in Wappingers Falls, and ran into the woods behind the animal hospital still under anesthesia.

Dozer is a brown white black lab, and is six years old.
