Three Injured As Car Crashes Into Tractor-Trailer On I-684

Three people suffered injuries and traffic was temporarily tied up on I-684 near the Westchester County Airport exit when a car struck a tractor-trailer, blocking the right lane.

Shortly after 11 a.m. on Thursday, first responders were dispatched to a stretch of I-684, near exit 2, where there was a reported multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer, which was reportedly stopped on the side of the road.

According to reports, three people, including two children, were treated for unidentified injuries at the scene. Their condition was not immediately available. The car, a Honda with Connecticut license plates, sustained serious damage in the crash. Traffic was reportedly flowing normally before 1 p.m.
