DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A Dutchess County family is seeking their community’s assistance as they search for Max, their dog that went missing late last week.

A family in Poughkeepsie is reaching out as they look for their missing dog, who “either decided to bolt the electric fence and wander, or someone took him,” at some point on Thursday, April 13 or the following day.

“Pleasant Valley, LaGrange, Beekman, Unionvale friends, please keep your eyes open for our dog Max,” Jody Thomsen posted on Facebook as the search continues. “He either decided to bolt the electric fence or wander, or someone took him between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon.”

Max was last seen at his home on Downing Road in LaGrange. Anyone with information can contact Denise at (845) 220-8588.
