East Fishkill Issues Advisory On Door-To-Door Salesmen

EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Dislike people knocking on your door trying to sell you something? If you live in East Fishkill you're lucky, you can now sign an opt-out form with the Town Clerk to stop unwanted salespeople.

East Fishkill residents can sign an opt-out form to prevent salespeople from knocking in their doors.

The service will begin Monday, April 3. Once enrolled, your address will be added to a list that is provided to all door-to-door salespeople as "no-knock" locations.

The form, located here, is quick and easy to fill out.

All salespeople are required to register with the city before visiting homes. If you sign up and a salesperson shows up at your door, report them to the Town Clerk's Office at 845-221-9191.
