Michael Barnett, the former owner of Vineyard Commons, an upscale residential development in Highland, a hamlet in Ulster County, also pleaded guilty to lying to federal authorities, the Poughkeepsie Journal story said.
Barnett could get up to five years in prison, pay more than $1 million in restitution and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
