Photos: Covid-19: Here's How Poughkeepsie First Responders Said Thanks To Hospital Staffers

A large group of Dutchess County first responders got together to show how much they cared about the employees of two local hospitals for their work providing care to patients with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The group visited Vassar Brothers Medical Center and MidHudson Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 8 with a parade of vehicles, signs and plenty of donated goodies.

The organizations taking part included the City of Poughkeepsie PBA/Police; City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department; LaGrange Professional Firefighters; Fairview Fire District; Town of Poughkeepsie PBA; Beacon Professional Firefighters; Dutchess County Deputy Sheriffs PBA; Arlington Professional firefighters and the countless others who assisted to make the event happen, said the City of Poughkeepsie Police PBA.

The group also thank local businesses for donations including Dutchess Beer Distributors, Market Fresh in Poughkeepsie, and Thrifty Beverage.
