The popular eatery, which opened in 2012, has the look of a modern diner on the outside, but inside there's a classic retro feel.

Open 24/7, Red Line's menu features an array of 'healthy comfort food,' and includes several products from local sources like Sprout Creek Farms and Sinon Farm.

The menu includes just about everything from burgers to steaks to seafood, and they also have a full array of coffee/espresso drinks, as well as a full bar.

It's not unusual to see a line waiting to be seated, but there's a lot of seating inside the spacious diner.

Check out the video to see Daily Voice talk to Red Line owner Gino Vanikiotis (who also owns Poughkeepsie's Daily Planet, The Palace and Table Talk) as well as happy customers of the restaurant.

The Vanikiotis family has owned and operated restaurants in the Hudson Valley since 1981, beginning with the Palace Diner in Poughkeepsie. Their properties include the Daily Planet Diner in Lagrangeville, Table Talk Diner in Poughkeepsie, Red Line Diner, and Barnabys Steakhouse in New Paltz. They also own Hyde Park Marina, the area’s only protected cove facility.
