Celebrate 25th Anniversary of Wmht With Hudson Valley Philharmonic

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Hudson Valley’s indispensable “classical companion,” WMHT, with "The Hudson Valley Philharmonic: A Toast to WMHT" Saturday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. at the Bardavon 1869 Opera House in Poughkeepsie.

Celebrate the station's anniversary with a trio of compositions by three 20th century classical giants—and a Van Cliburn Piano Competition prizewinner. Selections include:

  • Bartok: Music for Strings, Percussion, Celesta
  • Ravel: Concerto, piano G major w/ Van Cliburn Competition Crystal Medalist Sean Chen
  • Sibelius: Symphony no. 1, op.39, E minor

Ticket holders are invited to a pre-concert talk by Maestro Fleischer with members of the orchestra one hour prior to each concert.

Subscription prices are $135 to $215 depending on seat location. Single tickets are $34 to $56 based on location, and $20 for Student Rush Tickets (day of show only).
