Specials will be offered Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting Friday, May 17 through Sunday, June 9. Each week will feature a different theme: Kitchen, Local, Taste of Inspirations, and Wellness.
The offerings include a series of new products and services that are designed to boost the customer experience. Renovated supermarket offerings include an in-store sushi chef, stir-fry bar, hand-battered fried chicken, in-store prepared salads and sandwiches and a hot bar with various entrees.
The seafood department has also expanded its options with the addition of cut grab-and-go seafood. The produce department has incorporated a larger variety of green grocery options, and more than 160 new Nature’s Place products have been added to the store’s shelves.
“Our customers already view us as an affordable, convenient shopping option that’s close to home,” said store manager Rod Duncan in a press release. “With these new additions, we’re expanding the healthy options we make available in-store and through Hannaford to Go, as well as offering a whole new line of freshly prepared products that can save them time and energy when they need it most.”
Other additions implemented during the renovation include six self-checkout registers, easy access to recycling located in a separate building and a private consultation area in the pharmacy for customers to talk with their pharmacist or receive an immunization.
The Wappingers Falls Hannaford (1490 U.S. 9) will also be announcing the recipients of three community donations totaling $6,000 as part of the customer appreciation celebrations.
