The buffet restaurant, at 2345 South Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie, is celebrating its grand opening on Jan. 27 after hosting a black tie optional VIP dinner on Jan. 26.
The project's opening has already been delayed several times when the original date of September was rescheduled to November and then to December. The most recent delay was due to an inspector's schedule.
Franchise owner Sherrance Henderson told The Poughkeepsie Journal the restaurant will employee 140 hourly workers and five managers. The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
