Gallagher, a three-year veteran of the Suffolk County Police Department’s Street Takeover Task Force, was gravely injured on Sunday, Jan. 5, when a Ford Mustang driven by a suspected impaired driver sideswiped his vehicle, causing it to overturn near Exit 55 in the westbound lanes of the LIE, police said. A driver was killed and a second person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash on Long Island. Emergency crews in Centerearch were called about a three-vehicle wreck on Nicolls Road near Mark Tree Road at around 7:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16. Driver Seriously Injured In Fall From Moving Vehicle At Long Island Gas Station
A man is hospitalized after falling from a moving vehicle at a Long Island gas station. The incident happened in Ronkonkoma, at the Mobil station on Ronkonkoma Avenue, at around 8:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23. Suffolk County Police said a 48-year-old Ridge man pulled his Ford vehicle up to a gas pump and was getting out when it rolled forward. The man fell to the pavement and suffered serious injuries.
