An unlicensed Long Island woman has been accused of driving drunk with two children in the SUV after an overnight crash, police said. The incident happened on Sunday, Aug. 11, just after midnight in Levittown. According to the Nassau County Police Department, officers responded to Flamingo Road after a report that a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee had hit an unoccupied parked vehicle. Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that extra patrols will be on the lookout for drunk and drugged drivers over the Fourth of July weekend.
