Sullivan County Man Charged With Rape Of Child Under 13: Police A Sullivan County 20-year-old man has been charged with the alleged rape of a child under the age of 13 and endangering the welfare of a child. According to Monticello Police Lt. Mark Johnston, Isaiah T. Uhl, of Monticello, was charged on Tuesday, Jan. 14, following an investigation of him having engaged in sexual intercourse with a female victim, who was less than 13 years of age during December 2024, at a Monticello home. 42-Year-Old Found Dead In Home In Region 42-Year-Old Found Dead In Home In Region
42-Year-Old Found Dead In Home In Region An investigation is underway after a person was found dead in the region. New York State Police say the homicide happened in Sullivan County on Saturday, Oct. 5 in the village of Monticello at a house on Lakewood Avenue. The victim has been identified as Jose Rodriguez, age 42, a resident of Monticello.  Anyone with information related to the homicide is urged to contact SP Liberty BCI at 845-292-0280.  The investigation is being conducted by state police, in conjunction with the Monticello Police Department and the Sullivan County District Attorney's Office,
