Body Of Man From Neighboring Town Found Along Road In Hudson Valley
Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found along a Hudson Valley road. The body of Northern Westchester County resident Charles Flowers, age 81, of Somers, was discovered on Stoneleigh Avenue in Putnam County on Wednesday, Oct. 30 around 1 p.m. in the town of Carmel, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. Hicks said that Flowers had been a patient at Putnam Hospital in Carme but had been discharged before his death. Man Found Dead In Pool At Orange County Home
Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a Hudson Valley home pool. The incident occurred in Orange County around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, on Aster Way in Wallkill. According to Wallkill Police Lt. Robert McLymore, officers discovered the victim, a 79-year-old Sullivan County man from Rock Hill, unconscious and unresponsive while in the pool. Officers and EMS immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR, McLymore said. NY Man ID'd As Tourist Found Dead In Greece
An American tourist recently found dead in Greece has been identified as a Long Island horse trainer. Toby Sheets’ body was found on Sunday, June 16, on a rocky beach on the Greek island of Mathraki, according to CBS News New York. Sheets, 55, was a native of Arkansas and lived in the Nassau County village of Floral Park, where he worked as a horse trainer at Belmont Park. His cause of death is still being investigated.
