Authorities are asking for help from the public in the search for a 35-year-old man wanted for sexual abuse charges in Orange County. Juan A. Gonzalez Gomez is wanted in connection to an active indictment warrant out of Orange County, New York State Police announced on Wednesday, March 12. Gonzalez Gomez faces charges of first-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child. Three people were injured after a car collided with a tree in Putnam County. The crash happened at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 on Sprout Brook Road near the Putnam Valley town line, where there was a single-vehicle accident involving a collision with a large tree, according to the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Continental Village Fire Department.
