Man Shoots Woman, Kills Himself In Long Island Home: Police A 66-year-old man shot and seriously injured a woman before killing himself at a home in Ridge, Suffolk County Police said on Saturday, Feb. 15. Gerard Senatore, a resident of the home, shot a 68-year-old woman twice before barricading himself inside the house, police said. Officers from the Seventh Precinct responded to a 911 call about the shooting at 28 Woodbrook Drive at 12:56 p.m., according to police. According to Suffolk County Police, the incident took place on Saturday, Nov. 1, at approximately 10:40 p.m., when three men, armed with guns, approached a woman on Oakridge Circle in Ridge, grabbed her key fob, and stole her BMW. 1 Critically Injured In Chain-Reaction Long Island Crash This story has been updated. One person was severely injured in a chain-reach reaction crash near a Long Island intersection. It happened just before 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Ridge. A 22-year-old Coram man was driving a 2012 Ford E-350 minibus westbound on Middle Country Road, just east of Ridge Road, according to Suffolk County Police. The minibus rear-ended a 2010 Ford Escape, pushing it into a westbound 2023 Ford F-150 being driven by a 59-year-old Shirley man.
