Teen In Critical Condition Following Long Island Crash
A 17-year-old was airlifted to a nearby hospital after a freeway crash, police said. It happened in Plainview on Tuesday, July 2. According to Nassau County Police, the teen boy was driving north on Route 135 in a 1998 Toyota Corolla. Just before 4:15 p.m., he collided with a 26-year-old woman, also driving north, in a 2013 Range Rover. He was taken via helicopter to a local hospital for treatment, where he is currently listed in critical condition. The other driver remained at the scene and no other injuries were reported. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Bomb Threat At Long Island Court Came From Outside US: Police
Police are continuing to investigate a bomb threat sent to a Long Island courthouse. It happened at about 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 17 in Southampton. According to local police, the Southampton Town Justice Court received multiple emails regarding a bomb threat. The threats prompted officers, detectives, and K-9 units to check the court and surrounding areas, which determined the area to be clear. Investigators said the email may have originated from outside the United States and is not linked to the Southampton Court. However, police said the investigation will remain ongoing.

35-Year-Old Critically Injured In 2-Vehicle Bethpage Crash
One person suffered critical injuries in an overnight crash on Long Island. It happened on Wednesday, June 26, in Bethpage. According to Nassau County Police, a 35-year-old man was operating a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on South Broadway when he was in a collision with a 2017 Cadillac SUV being operated by a 28-year-old female traveling northbound, turning left into a parking lot. 5 Hospitalized After Flames Engulf Long Island Home
Three adults and a pair of children were taken to a local hospital after a large fire broke out at a residential home. It happened in East Meadow on Tuesday, June 25, according to Nassau County Police. At approximately 3:40 p.m., police arrived at the home, which was on Arleigh Road, to see the house fully engulfed in flames. Police are searching for a man who allegedly committed a sex offense near an elementary school. It happened on Sunday, June 23 in Seaford, according to Nassau County Police. At about 5:30 p.m. that day, a 34-year-old woman was walking in the back of East Broadway Elementary School, which is located at 751 Seamans Neck Road. One person died after a fire broke out at a Long Island home. Nassau County Police say detectives were conducting an investigation in Baldwin on Talmadge Drive when they saw smoke emanating from a residence at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 11. The detectives entered the home to search for any occupants until they were driven back by heavy smoke, heat, and flames. Officers received a 911 call for possible human remains at a construction site in Woodbury located on Fairhaven Boulevard at about 4 p.m. Monday, June 10, Nassau County Police said. The identity has been released for a man struck and killed on a Long Island roadway. The crash happened just before 9 p.m. Friday, May 31, in Brentwood. Suffolk County Police said the man was crossing Wicks Road, just south of Merrill Street when he was struck by a southbound 2016 Honda CRV driven by a 58-year-old Bay Shore man. One person was killed in a crash on the Southern State Parkway involving two vehicles. It happened around 2 p.m. Friday, May 31 in Oyster Bay.
