Masked Duo Steals Mercedes-Benz From Garage Of Nassau County Home Two masked individuals stole a 2024 Mercedes G-Wagon from a Long Island home. The incident happened in Hewlett Bay Park early Wednesday, Nov. 6, after the duo breaking in through a rear window, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, Fourth Precinct officers responded to a burglary call at a residence on Woodside Drive around 3:40 a.m.  Police said the suspects used a pry bar to enter through a rear window, then took a key fob to the Mercedes, which they removed from the garage before fleeing in an unknown direction. Man Accused Of Driving Drunk After Crashing Into Police Cruiser On LIE In Dix Hills A man has been accused of driving while intoxicated after he crashed his car into a marked police vehicle on the Long Island Expressway. The incident happened around 10:20 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in Dix Hills, on the westbound side near Exit 50.
