35-Year-Old Critically Injured In 2-Vehicle Bethpage Crash
One person suffered critical injuries in an overnight crash on Long Island. It happened on Wednesday, June 26, in Bethpage. According to Nassau County Police, a 35-year-old man was operating a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on South Broadway when he was in a collision with a 2017 Cadillac SUV being operated by a 28-year-old female traveling northbound, turning left into a parking lot. 5 Hospitalized After Flames Engulf Long Island Home
Three adults and a pair of children were taken to a local hospital after a large fire broke out at a residential home. It happened in East Meadow on Tuesday, June 25, according to Nassau County Police. At approximately 3:40 p.m., police arrived at the home, which was on Arleigh Road, to see the house fully engulfed in flames. The East Meadow Fire Department, along with multiple fire departments from surrounding towns, were able to extinguish the blaze. Police reported that the house suffered extensive damage. Teen Trapped Under Car Following Long Island Crash: Police
Police have reminded drivers not to use off-road motorcycles on public roadways after a teen crashed on Long Island, hitting one car and getting him stuck underneath another. The crash happened on Tuesday, June 11 in Hicksville, according to Nassau County Police. At about 4:30 p.m. that evening, a 15-year-old teen boy was driving an off-road motorcycle south on Jerusalem Avenue. As he neared Spindle Road, he hit a 2009 Honda. Woman Assaulted In Her Sleep At Long Island Home, Police Say
Police are searching for an alleged burglar who struck a 64-year-old woman in the face as she slept. The incident occurred in Levittown on Sunday, June 9. At about 2:30 a.m., the person broke into the victim’s home and hit her in the face with an unknown object, waking her up, Nassau County Police said.
