2 Store Clerks Accused Of Selling Alcohol To Minors During Long Island Compliance Check Two Long Island businesses were cited for allegedly selling alcohol to minors. Compliance checks were conducted at 19 retail vendors throughout the Town of Riverhead on Tuesday, Aug. 20. The operation targeted the sale of alcohol products to patrons under the age of 21. The following vendors were found not to comply: Mobil, 3705 Middle Country Road, Calverton Shell, 626 W. Long Island Expressway Fatal: Victim ID'd In 2-Vehicle Crash One driver was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash on an exit ramp from the Long Island Expressway. The deadly wreck happened at around 7 a.m. Friday, May 31, in Calverton, on the eastbound I-495 exit 71 ramp to Edwards Avenue. Suffolk County Police said a Hyundai sedan was attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Edwards Avenue when it was struck by a Chevrolet pickup truck heading southbound. The Hyundai driver, Scott Mancuso, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Authorities have not yet released his age or hometown. The driver of the truck…
