Cybersecurity Issue Hits Stop & Shop, Other Supermarkets, Parent Company Says A cybersecurity “issue” has led the parent company of a supermarket chain to disconnect some systems to protect them. Ahold Delhaize USA said it recently detected a cybersecurity issue within its US network. New Supermarket To Open In Hudson Valley A new 24-hour-a-day supermarket is opening in the Hudson Valley, focusing on everything fresh.  The Garden Fresh Market, located in Rockland County in Spring Valley, will have its soft opening on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 26, said owner Wilson Bermeo of New City.  This will be the fourth supermarket for Bermeo, who immigrated from Ecuador in 1995 to live the American Dream. New ShopRite Locale Preparing To Open In Hudson Valley: Here's Where A new ShopRite supermarket in Northern Westchester is readying itself for shoppers.  The upcoming ShopRite, which will be opening in Mount Kisco at 333 North Bedford Rd. in late 2024, gave a sneak peak of its interior in a social media post on Thursday, Aug. 22.  The new location will replace the company's current supermarket in Bedford Hills at 747 Bedford Rd.  Although an opening date has not yet been announced, the company teased that residents should look out for more information "in the coming weeks."  "That's all we can say for now," the company added.
