Hudson Valley Crash Sends 1 To Hospital, Police Looking For Witnesses A person was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a busy Hudson Valley intersection. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 5:50 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, in the area of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road in Orangetown. According to Sgt. Robert Wentland of the Orangetown Police, the victim, a bicyclist, was struck and injured while attempting to cross the intersection of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road. Rockland Paramedic Services and the South Orangetown Ambulance Corps responded to the location to administer medical treatment.  The victim was transported to Nyack …

Woman Found Shot On Hudson Valley Street Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating after a woman was found unconscious with a single gunshot wound on a city street. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 12:40 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, in the area of Edward Street and the Joseph B. Clarke Rail Trail in Sparkill. According to Orangetown Police Sgt. Robert Wentland, after officers arrived at the scene, Rockland Paramedic Services and the South Orangetown Ambulance Corps administered medical treatment.
