Duo Nabbed After Knifepoint Robbery In Hudson Valley, Police Say Two suspects are behind bars in connection with an armed robbery in the region. The Dutchess County incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, in the Town of Poughkeepsie’s Arlington neighborhood. Officers responded to the area of Main Street near Raymond Avenue after the victim called 911 saying a man and woman threatened them with a knife and stole their property. The victim was not injured. While canvassing the area, police located two people matching the suspects’ descriptions: 25-year-old Ashley Rizzo and 41-year-old Keith Woodin, both of Hyde Park. They were each arreste…

The incident occurred in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 3:30 a.m., Friday, July 5, in the area of 380 Main St. According to Det. Sgt. Terrance Beam of the Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers, encountered a large disorderly group and four people suffering from gunshot wounds.  Officers began rendering aid to the victims and secured a crime scene. According to the city of Poughkeepsie Police, officers responded to the area of Main Street and N White Street to a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they located numerous spent shell casings but no victims. Man, 55, Found Shot Dead In Hudson Valley Parking Lot Police are searching for a suspect after a 55-year-old man was found shot dead in a parking lot in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:20 p.m., Saturday, June 1, in the area of 472 Main St., in Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Matt Clark of the City of Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers found the man at the top of the parking area. He was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, where he later died, Clark said. Police have not identified the victim.
