Teen Gets Attempted Murder Charge After Shooting In Orange County: Police A 17-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a 2023 Orange County shooting that left a man with four gunshot wounds, police announced.  The shooting happened in Newburgh on June 7, 2023, at approximately 5:06 p.m., when police responded to 26 Liberty Street for a report of shots fired, the City of Newburgh Police Department announced on Thursday, March 13.  Shortly after the gunfire, authorities were told that a male victim had arrived at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital with four gunshot wounds. Murder-suicide: IDs Of Three Dead Released In Post-Christmas Sullivan County Shooting Police have released additional details in a triple murder-suicide in Sullivan County, NY the day after Christmas. Law enforcement was dispatched to a shooting incident at 10 Sunset Point Yankee Lake in Mamakating at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, NY State Police said. Troopers arrived to find 65-year-old Thomas K. Fusco, of Wurtsboro, dead inside the residence from a gunshot wound, NYSP said.
