Car Flips On Roof In Hudson Valley Crash
A car overturned following a crash on a road in the region. The incident happened just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Northern Westchester when the car flipped on the eastern half of Colabaugh Pond Road in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department. Arriving first responders found that the driver had managed to escape the vehicle on his own. The driver later declined a trip to the hospital after being evaluated. Emergency crews in Dutchess County were called about a fire along Route 82 in Hopewell Junction shortly before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3. A dog was shot and killed after attacking an 8-year-old girl, critically injuring her and a 39-year-old woman in the Hudson Valley. A man on an outing with his family at Harriman State Park drowned after jumping into the lake and swimming about 100 feet away. A 19-year-old Hudson Valley man died after being found unresponsisve in a home pool. The incident occurred in Orange County around 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15 on Meadow Streeet in the town of Newburgh. According to Lt. A driver was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a busy Hudson Valley road. The crash happened in Putnam County on Monday afternoon, July 22, when an Acura flipped on Milltown Road in the village of Brewster near the Connecticut border, according to the Brewster Fire Department.
