Fatal Crash: 22-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Region A 22-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the region. It happened around 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, in Schoharie County in the town of Seward. An electric bicycle being operated by Mackenzie T. Bamberger of Cobleskill entered the intersection from Hill Road.  It was then struck by a vehicle northbound on State Route 10, according to New York State Police. The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped and called for emergency services.  Bamberger was airlifted from the scene to Albany Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. 3 Dead Following Head-On Capital Region Crash Three people were killed in a head-on highway crash in the region. The Greene County wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, on Route 23 in the town of Windham. Sheriff’s officials said a Buick SUV was heading eastbound on State Route 23 when it collided with a westbound Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection of Cross Road. Two passengers in the Buick were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third Buick passenger died at Albany Medical Center. Double-Fatal Crash: Man, Woman ID'd As Victims After Tractor-Trailer Rolls Over On NY Thruway Two people were killed in a crash involving a rolled-over tractor-trailer on the New York State Thruway. The crash happened around 8 a.m. Thursday, May 23 in Albany.
